The purpose of United Interests, LP (“United” or the “HoldCo”) is to provide direct investment development capital to create next generation Industrial Ecology projects through an immediate investable platform.
This platform will develop, construct and operate large-scale energy and agricultural assets with sustainable year after year operational cash flow. This nontraditional HoldCo’s focus is three-fold:
- To develop sustainable refineries that take apart biomass on a large scale creating multiple revenue streams.
- To develop and commercialize disruptive industrial and agricultural technology saving water and reducing fertilizers resulting in higher food yields and profit.
- To invest in marginal agricultural real estate to support our sustainable refinery and a sustainable community.
United develops assets at cost, places assets into special purpose entities, allowing these entities then to raise the project financing capital to bring projects into operations, driving distributable cash and enterprise values normally reserved as an institutional return to our investors.

These projects are developed and operated in cooperation with very large farms and agri-business players, each co-investing with United on a committed and long-term basis. Over the life cycle of the investment, revenue and returns maintain a high-quality profile, clean tech impact, and institutional grade performance. There is limited technology risk. All of United’s proprietary processes and engineering utilize off the shelf technology demonstrated in various North American and Euro markets. The refining platform is our intellectual property.
Sustainable Refineries
United’s sustainable refineries are designed to be the largest RNG projects in the world. The refineries take apart energy cane, animal manures and food waste refining the resulting volatile solids in anaerobic digesters to biogas. Refining biogas into renewable natural gas (RNG) is followed by the capturing of food grade CO2. Post digestion the digester effluent is further refined capturing renewable chemicals and concentrated nutrients. The refinery provides renewable power, concentrated CO2 and clean water to hydroponic vegetable production.
Technology
United’s soil technology changes sandy soil into a sandy loam helping our own irrigated farms and other corporate farms reduce irrigation water and fertilizers while increasing crop production. Plantation grown biomass and waste streams from agriculture, industry and municipalities are feedstocks for our sustainable refineries. The processing of these waste streams captures CO2 and eliminates ground water contamination, odors, air pollution, flies and pathogens. One of our streams out of nutrient recovery is clean water. This is a game changer for municipalities, industry, farmers and the agricultural industry.
